I was introduced to SocialSpark last year when PayPerPost gave me an opportunity to review the newly launched marketplace. Till then Spark has been improved a lot. I applied for Spark but my blog was rejected for some reasons. Then back in March 2009, I applied for BlogKori and this time it was approved. After that I was learning more about Spark as I took their opps.
In short, SocialSpark is a blog marketplace similar to PayPerPost. Spark is different than any other paid content sites even better than PayPerPost itself. You’ll know it when you’ll read this article and even better when you’ll work for them.
To get accepted with Spark, your blog has to be unique, great content and at least 3 months old. Spark offers a range of paid opportunities such as,
- Paid review: A paid post about the company or service.
- CPC: Post a review, banner, link, twitter message or facebook status to get paid for every valid clicks.
- CPA: Affiliate links and banners to promote a service. Pay for a successful sale.
- Spark: A spark is like blogging about a service without pay. Most advertisers offer blog you back. It’s a sort of review exchanges.
Spark is a social network like site and the users can add friends and message each other. Here are some excellent features that make SocialSpark apart,
No more Page Rank needed
SocialSpark’s default ranking standard is IZEA ranks. No more chasing page ranks to get better paid reviews. IZEA rank is determined by the quality of traffic you’re receiving, read this post on IZEA ranks explained. You don’t have to obtain a higher page rank to get more opportunities.
“No Follow” with paid content
Most people are afraid of paid reviews because paid links hurt the blog SEO. But not any more because first time a paid market place that support “No Follow” links. A “no follow” is an HTML tag in links that says “don’t share my page rank to this site”. That means you’ll remain on the safe side in SEO.
Even more options
There could be less review opportunities for a small blog but there’s always other opps for everyone. For an example, you can launch a CPC or CPA campaign and post the banners on your blog. For every click or sale, you’ll receive payment. Take the links outside of your blog and post them on twitter and facebook. You’ll get paid when you’ll get clicks.
Receive payments when you need
You’ll get paid for a paid review after 30 days and 5 days for CPC clicks. All of the income will be stored on your Spark account. You can withdraw your income via PayPal when it reaches $20. This means you can keep your earning forever and can withdraw anytime you want. They pay instantly to paypal. You can also create an advertiser account and transfer your earnings to the advertiser account.

I think I’m going to work for that CPC. My blog was rejected for some unsaid reasons.

You won’t get the CPC either if your blog is not approved.
Twitter message or Facebook Status [CPC]. Why do I need to have a blog approved? It’s still unclear to me.

It’s IZEA official rule; you can’t do anything about that.
I tried Social Spark when I was a rookie and to be honest, bloggers should not be wasting time with it.
I wrote 2 reviews as an exchange through marketplace and guess what, I never got a review back!
I’d recommend some other network if people want to earn money and if they are interested in link building(via review exchanges), Guest Posting is best option!

Hey bro, the thing about exchange is called “spark” and any one should take it at his own risk. Because you never know if you will get the review back.
Paid reviews always pay in time with no problem at all.
Great review of Social Spark. I think I signed up for it a long time ago, but haven’t used it much yet. Will have to go back and really develop it again.
Thanks,
Kristi

I had Sponsored Reviews, but it didn’t sent me any offers; guess my bids were too high. How about now? Do you get regular opps in that?
Not that regular! Just last week my blog’s PR got updated to 2! Before that I have got a bidding offer! Just a few days back i got the first direct offer from sponsoredreview! When I see the bidding opportunity then there are many! But also many bloggers bidding for them! So choosing right amount is always required! Also I think the bidding value may increase after getting own domain name :)
And weird is that I am not qualified for either PPP or social spark! Reason is that my blog has 2 authors. I really dont understand the logic behind this rule! :(
btw tamal, even if I subscribe for the comments, it is not getting mailed on my email! Please have a look on this!

Always wanted to try this one… Just on e question – does Google now allows paid posts?
It’s not the 2007-08 anymore. Google is much more supportive to paid content and now doesn’t hampers your page rank for paid contents. BlogKori’s having paid content from the beginning, but still no damage in the ranks.
Ohhhh….. and do You know how about text-link-ads? Does Google now accept them too or those are still no-no-no?

My blog was rejected by both PPP and SS because of too many widgets and unfresh theme :-/ But now I’m expecting my blog to be approved. Take a look at my new design :D Do you like it?

It leads me to a *maintainace mode* ~page
Oh yea sorry for that. I had to edit the code of that theme. And this is the first time I worked with php codes and successfully made some changes into the entire theme :O :O
Now you can visit it. If it is rejected by PPP again, then it will be a very strange matter. They told me to have less widget and a clean theme. Now I do have that. What do you think? Is there any reason what PPP may reject the blog for?
Aminul Islam Sajib’s latest blog post..Introducing the Google Chrome Operating System!
I haven’t tried this yet, but the reviews on it seem to be either poor or people don’t use it much.
I do feel like that. A lot of people talk about PPP but not about Spark. It’s nofollow so it’s not gonna interest advertisers.. but surprisingly there are lots of opps there.
i am looking to make money online i do not mean the get rich schemes or pyramids, just a way to make money or a business i can join to make money from, like maybe a few hundred or so a week, not that thousands a week fake stuff. and if your going to say something about blogs and all that please tell me how to make money from doing that.
All of the methods mentioned in BlogKori are legal and are not scam.. I have made money with it. If you want to make money with blogs/website then you have to depend on your traffic and search rankings. As a beginner its a lot of hardwork and fairly impossible. But as the way you expresses that you are happy with hundreds, then I can say any mid sized blogs can easily make it with paid reviews, direct ads and affiliate sales.
Side by side, you can work as a freelancer to raise your income. There are lots of people who want to get their sites done by someone. You can use your web knowledge to earn like that.
Good site for make money. I’ll submit my blog. Thanks for information.
