In my entire journey of blogging, I received lots of comments from the first blog, blog-success.blogspot.com to this blog, BlogKori.com. Comments are great motivations and it feels that people are visiting your blog. In the very beginning, the comments count was “0″ and in every 7-10 days, there was a new comment. I used to get excited about that comment and say “Hurray!”
And then when I was getting good at blogging, comments were no longer a big deal! Now there’s a lot of comment in my blog everyday, can’t get the time to reply all of them. You know how I tripled my comments count and the way to increase comments. The majority of the comments are positive, and they sound like this: “Nice post; thanks for sharing; wonderful …and all the good things” The percentages of negative comments are 2/100.
Negative comments draw the attention of the author and readers. Where 10 people are saying the good thing, 1 bad comment instantly turns the attention to that comment. It’s wise to keep that comment instead of deleting it.
Now you and your readers reply to that comment and it works like a bush fire of discussions. People keep coming to that page to see the replies. It works for the commentator too! All of the blog commentators including the author go to his site to know more about that person. So when the next time you had a bad comment, you should be proud of it ~at least someone said the different thing about your writing.
Leave a negative comment!
Here’s the exercise, leave a negative comment on this post, anything about the article, blog or even if it’s me. Can also leave a bad comment on the design, updates, paid content or anything that you always wanted to share!
Please don’t be too harsh because people will be reading your comment ~your comment will not be deleted.

It’s a bit rude for you to say “can’t get the time to reply to all of them.” I expect a response since you’ve invited me to start/join a conversation. — you even pre-check the ‘notify me of follow-up comments’ button! Replying helps build trust and makes me want to return. You could easily lose a serious reader that way. Instead, discourage the ‘bums’ who leave spam comments just to get a link.
Don’t give them a spot in your top commentators — limit the list to 4 or 5 people. why is ‘Buy Zotrim’ listed? [no offense if this is legit, but can you blame me?] You need to take some time to ‘police’ comments that get past spam filter. I for one don’t want to see them.
There are ways to at least respond to several comments with one reply from you. Would cover the honest newbie who is still learning to comment!
By the way I have a post about how to write and spot ‘ham’ comments: How Much Ham is in Your Blog Comments? — it reminds you that your comment to post ratio is watered down by ‘trivial’ comments.
[okay, that may be a shameless plug --- you can delete the link! LOL] — having too much fun, so I’m stopping…

*I agree all of those things you said.. and it’s true*
Lately I got even busy to read a comment in my email notifications.. so it just developed in that way. But I built the readers one by one by replying comments and starting that again.
These are some spam comments that askimet can’t even detect. This is why now I moderate comments and delete the spammy ones.
I removed the plugin, so now it won’t annoy you anymore.
I think it’s mean that you have these cool follow my updates on twitter and add to my faves in techonorait graphics that you won’t share as freebie icons (or if you got them elsewhere, where you got them).
That’s really about as negative as I can get.
~ Kristi
Ps. I don’t like ham comments. I’m a vegetarian!
@Kikolani, Work with me here! Did anyone say you have to eat them? Granted, you may have to eat your words ‘that’s about as negative as I can get..!” I sense repressed anger. lol
Okay about those cool icons, I made them myself and will share them in the blog.. happy now?
I hate being a High School senior, I’m tired, I’m burnt out. Finals are this week, I still do work, but it’s getting harder. My parent don’t think I have work to day and it’s very annoying. Argh!
This is something out of the BOX here :)
Hi Tamal! I was willing to say something [Although not negative :P]
You notice the search box above the screen :P Write there something reclick and all are gone :D! Mann fix it. Find codes similar to this < input onclick=”this.value=”” and change it to < input onclick=”if(this.value==’Enter Search Keyword’){this.value=”};” onblur=”if(this.value==”){this.value=’Enter Search Keyword”}; and see the magic B-)
Ohh it works fine man.. no problem at all.
Bad comment…Well comment back you should, how can I know you’ve read my comment? Not included in top commentators…More comments or best comments? I don’t like that
Patricia’s latest blog post..¿POR QUE SERA?
You would get excited about a comment that was .. every 7-10 days… That is pathetic! I would be disappointed at that. You are right, 1 bad comment will cause heads to turn.. the readers will think.. praise the load, finally someone was smart enough to say the truth…. Haha :P I don’t really mean any of that…. “ or do I?”

@Patricia
~I have to admit, the top commentator thing and the free banner bonus mad people mad about that and I encouraged rubbish comments.. but things are change and now a new day begins.
@gas card
~Yeah I feel that too! Negative comment works!
Tamal your blog header is too damn big. Do you really expect us to scroll down half a screen every time we get to your blog. Do you not care about your visitors? Geez man. Another thing I have to complain about is that your top commentator links include the number. Do we want that number in our anchor text? Lol…I like the post concept.
I had never looked very closely at it. ,
